Description
The acetate ester of Retinol, the dominant Vitamin A form for animal feed applications globally. This SKU is the 325,000 IU/g cold-water-soluble (CWS) powder format, optimized for premix manufacturing and dry feed addition.
Pale yellow to brown free-flowing powder. Spray-dried into gelatin or modified-starch matrix for protection from oxidation and to enable cold-water dispersion in feed-mill manufacturing.
We supply feed-grade and pharmaceutical-grade Retinyl Acetate from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production.
Common market grades include Retinyl Acetate 325 CWS (this SKU, 325,000 IU/g powder), Retinyl Acetate 500 CWS (500,000 IU/g powder), Retinyl Acetate Oil (1 to 3 million IU/g concentrate), and Pharmaceutical Grade meeting BP/USP/EP specifications.
Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Batch-level COA covering potency, particle size, peroxide value, heavy metals, and microbiology.
Introduction
This SKU is the 325,000 IU/g cold-water-soluble (CWS) powder format of Retinyl Acetate, distinct from the parent oil concentrate and from higher-potency 500 CWS format by potency and intended application.
Production starts with Retinyl Acetate oil concentrate, which is then mixed with food-grade gelatin or modified starch under controlled conditions, atomized through a spray dryer, and dried to defined moisture content. The resulting powder consists of microscopic gelatin or starch beadlets each containing Retinyl Acetate stabilized against oxidation.
Regulated as a permitted food ingredient by the U.S. FDA, the European Food Safety Authority, and equivalent regulators worldwide.
The 325 IU/g potency level matches specific feed-mill manufacturing protocols where 1 kg of premix is dosed per 100 to 200 kg of feed. The cold-water-soluble matrix is essential because feed-mill mixing equipment cannot heat the feed, but the Vitamin A must disperse evenly throughout the finished feed.
Strategic positioning serves animal feed and premix manufacturing exclusively. Cost per IU is meaningfully lower than the human-food-grade Retinyl Palmitate oils, reflecting both the simpler manufacturing process and the less stringent purity requirements of animal feed applications.
