Description
The cold-water-soluble (CWS) variant of 500,000 IU/g Vitamin D3 Feed Grade. Distinct from standard Feed Grade by a hydrophilic carrier matrix that disperses uniformly in cold water, enabling use in liquid feed systems and water-soluble premixes.
Pale yellow to brown free-flowing powder. The CWS carrier (typically modified starch or gum arabic) provides true water dispersion without floating or settling.
We supply feed-grade Vitamin D3 500 CWS from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production.
Common market grades include standard Vitamin D3 500 CWS, Premium CWS with tighter potency tolerances for clinical-nutrition applications, and pre-blended CWS systems with Vitamin A for AD3 liquid-feed applications.
Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Batch-level COA covering potency, water dispersion, particle size, peroxide value, heavy metals, and microbiology.
Introduction
This SKU is the cold-water-soluble variant of Vitamin D3 500 Feed Grade, distinct from the standard Feed Grade (catalog id 14600) by a different carrier matrix optimized for water dispersion rather than dry-feed mixing.
Production proceeds similarly to standard Feed Grade with one key difference: the carrier matrix uses modified starch or gum arabic specifically chosen for cold-water solubility, rather than the conventional gelatin carrier that would float or clump in water.
Regulatory status follows that of standard Vitamin D3 Feed Grade.
The CWS format addresses a specific operational requirement in liquid-feed and drinking-water medication applications: standard gelatin-carrier powders float on water surface or clump together, producing uneven dosing. The water-soluble carrier dissolves cleanly, producing uniform Vitamin D3 distribution.
Strategic positioning serves liquid-feed and water-soluble premix applications specifically. Cost is higher than standard Feed Grade due to the more expensive carrier and additional processing, limiting use to applications where the water-dispersion advantage is functionally required.
Where it is used
- Liquid animal-feed systems: drinking-water medication, liquid feed supplements
- Water-soluble animal nutrition premixes
- Aquaculture feed where uniform water-dispersion matters
- Veterinary pharmaceutical liquid formulations
- Premium pet food liquid fortification
- Specialty animal-nutrition applications requiring rapid hydration
- Premix manufacturing for water-dispersible vitamin systems
