Natural vanilla powder produced from ground cured vanilla beans (Vanilla planifolia or related species), with or without a small fraction of carrier such as maltodextrin or rice starch. Distinct from synthetic vanillin powder and vanilla flavor on a sugar base.
Light to dark brown free-flowing powder with characteristic vanilla aroma. Visible specks of ground vanilla bean are often present in premium grades and represent the authentic visual signature of real vanilla.
We supply Natural Vanilla Powder produced by importing partners in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production. Madagascar, Indonesian, and Tahitian bean sources available on request.
Common market grades include 100% Ground Vanilla Bean Powder (carrier-free, premium grade), Vanilla Bean Powder on Maltodextrin (50% bean content for cost-effective use), and Vanilla Sugar Powder for bakery and tabletop use. Organic and Fair-Trade certifications available for premium positioning.
Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Batch-level COA covering vanillin content, moisture, ash, and microbiology.
Introduction
Vanilla is the cured seed pod of orchids in the Vanilla genus, principally Vanilla planifolia native to Mexico and now cultivated in Madagascar, Indonesia, Uganda, Papua New Guinea, and other tropical regions.
Vanilla powder production starts with cured vanilla beans of Grade A or B quality. The beans are ground to a fine particle size and optionally blended with a small fraction of carrier to improve flow and standardize vanillin content. Premium grades use no carrier; the powder is pure ground vanilla bean.
Recognized as a natural flavor and food ingredient in all major jurisdictions. The U.S. FDA defines specific standards for vanilla beans and vanilla extract products under 21 CFR 169. Vanilla powder on carrier must declare the carrier on the finished product label.
The visual signature of speckled ground vanilla bean is a powerful marketing cue in premium dairy and bakery, signaling real vanilla content to consumers and supporting price premiums substantially above synthetic vanillin formulations.
