01 — Overview

Description

The premium-spec form of fructose-corn-syrup" class="underline" style="color: var(--sage-deep); text-decoration-color: var(--sage-deep);">High Fructose Corn Syrup, with tighter dry-substance and color tolerances than the standard commercial grades. F42 (42 percent fructose) and F55 (55 percent fructose) are the two dominant commercial designations.

Clear viscous liquid. Sweetness comparable to or slightly above sucrose. Lower viscosity and freezing point than sucrose syrups simplify storage and handling at industrial scale.

We supply food-grade High Fructose Syrup from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production.

Common market grades include F42 (42 percent fructose, the workhorse grade for baked goods, condiments, and dairy), F55 (55 percent fructose, the carbonated soft-drink standard), and F90 specialty grade (90 percent fructose, used in premium beverage and dessert applications). This SKU represents the tighter-spec premium tier within F42 and F55.

Bulk shipments in tankers, IBC totes, and drums. Batch-level COA covering fructose content, dry substance, pH, color, sulphur dioxide, and microbiology.

02 — Background

Introduction

This SKU is differentiated from the parent High Fructose Corn Syrup product (catalog id 1496) by tighter quality tolerances on dry substance, color, and impurity ceilings, suitable for premium branded finished products.

Production proceeds by enzymatic isomerization of corn-derived glucose syrup using immobilized glucose isomerase, then chromatographic enrichment for the F55 grade. The premium SKU is differentiated from standard commercial grades by additional carbon decolorization passes and tighter ion-exchange polishing.

Recognized as a permitted food ingredient by the U.S. FDA, the European Food Safety Authority, and equivalent regulators worldwide.

Caloric value is 4 kcal per gram on a dry-weight basis, equivalent to sucrose. Glycemic response is comparable to sucrose at F42 and slightly lower at F55 due to the higher fructose fraction.

Customers select this premium grade specifically for finished-product applications where the standard commercial-grade tolerances on color or sulphur dioxide ceiling would be visible in the finished product or would compromise marketing claims around clarity and clean-label positioning.
