01 — Overview

Description

A natural 1:1 sucrose-replacement blend pairing high-intensity Monk Fruit (Luo Han Guo) extract with a bulking agent, most commonly Erythritol or Allulose. Sweetness matches sucrose by mass; calorie content depends on the bulking agent (zero with Erythritol, near-zero with Allulose).

White granular powder. The blended format addresses the principal practical limitation of pure Monk Fruit extract, which is hundreds of times sweeter than sucrose and impossible to dose by volume in consumer or culinary applications.

We supply food-grade Monk Fruit Blended Sweetener from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production. Non-GMO and certified-organic specifications are available on request.

Common market grades are differentiated by bulking agent and ratio: Monk Fruit with Erythritol (the dominant retail blend), Monk Fruit with Stevia and Erythritol (cost-balanced and broad-spectrum natural sweetness), Monk Fruit with Allulose (premium positioning for clean-label and keto markets), and Monk Fruit with Dietary Fiber (functional positioning).

Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Custom blends and ratios produced to specification. Batch-level COA covering Mogroside V content, bulking-agent purity, heavy metals, and microbiology.

02 — Background

Introduction

Monk Fruit, known in Chinese as Luo Han Guo (Siraitia grosvenorii), is a perennial vine native to southern China and northern Thailand. Traditional Chinese medicine has used the dried fruit as a sweetening and respiratory agent for at least eight centuries.

The active sweet compounds are mogrosides, a family of triterpene glycosides with Mogroside V as the dominant species at approximately 0.5 to 1 percent of dried fruit weight. Mogroside V is approximately 250 to 300 times sweeter than sucrose. Industrial extraction by hot-water solvent and resin chromatography produces standardized extracts at 25 to 70 percent Mogroside V purity.

Classified as Generally Recognized as Safe by the U.S. FDA in 2010, approved in China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. EU approval is pending under the Novel Foods regulation, currently limiting EU finished-product claims.

The blended-sweetener format pairs the high-intensity mogroside extract with a bulking agent at a ratio that delivers sucrose-equivalent sweetness by mass. Erythritol is the dominant bulking partner due to its combined non-glycemic, non-caloric, and chemically stable profile. The finished blend behaves in formulation almost identically to sucrose at 1:1 substitution, eliminating the recipe-modification work that pure high-intensity sweeteners require.

Strategic positioning targets the premium clean-label and ketogenic markets, where the combination of natural source, sucrose-equivalent functionality, and zero or near-zero glycemic impact commands a price premium over standard high-intensity sweetener systems.
