Description
The full-spectrum natural-source Vitamin E complex, containing all four tocopherol isomers (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) in their natural ratio. The premium natural-products positioning of Vitamin E and the dominant natural antioxidant for food and supplement applications.
Pale yellow to amber viscous oily liquid. Light- and oxidation-sensitive; requires sealed, light-protective packaging.
We supply food-grade and supplement-grade Mixed Tocopherols from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production.
Common market grades include Mixed Tocopherols 70 percent (food antioxidant grade, the most common commercial concentration), Mixed Tocopherols 90 percent (supplement grade), High-Gamma Mixed Tocopherols (gamma-enriched for premium supplement positioning), Mixed Tocopherols Powder (spray-dried beadlets for dry fortification), and IP Non-GMO certified variants for the natural-products market.
Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Batch-level COA covering tocopherol profile (alpha, beta, gamma, delta), total tocopherols, peroxide value, heavy metals, and microbiology.
Introduction
Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E complex) are the natural-source full-spectrum Vitamin E fraction, containing all four naturally occurring tocopherol isomers in the proportions characteristic of the source oil. The complex provides Vitamin E vitamin activity (primarily from alpha-tocopherol) plus the antioxidant and biological effects of the non-alpha tocopherols.
Industrial production proceeds by extraction and concentration from soybean and sunflower oil deodorizer distillates (the byproduct of edible oil refining), followed by molecular distillation to concentrate the tocopherol fraction to commercial specifications.
Recognized as a permitted food ingredient and Generally Recognized as Safe antioxidant by the U.S. FDA, the European Food Safety Authority, and equivalent regulators worldwide. Listed in BP, USP, EP, and JP pharmacopoeias as a Vitamin E source. Approved by JECFA as a food antioxidant.
Strategic positioning splits between two distinct application categories. The food antioxidant application is the largest by volume, using 70-percent concentrates to replace synthetic antioxidants like BHT and BHA in clean-label and natural-positioned foods. The supplement application uses 90-percent or high-gamma concentrates for premium Vitamin E products.
The clinical literature on mixed tocopherols supports the full-spectrum positioning over isolated alpha-tocopherol, particularly for cardiovascular-support indications. Gamma-tocopherol has emerged as the most biologically interesting non-alpha isomer due to its distinct nitrogen-radical scavenging activity.
