01 — Overview

Description

Oil extracted from the seeds of Vitis vinifera grapes, a byproduct of wine production. High linoleic acid content (60 to 76 percent) and natural tocopherol antioxidants. High smoke point of 216 degrees Celsius supports cooking applications.

Pale yellow to green-yellow clear liquid. The cold-pressed virgin grade has a light grape aroma; refined grades are nearly odorless.

We supply Grapeseed Oil from manufacturers in China with cross-border sourcing from wine-producing regions in Spain, Italy, France, and Chile, holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production.

Common market grades include cold-pressed virgin, RBD refined for high-heat cooking, and organic-certified material from wine-production cooperatives.

Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Batch-level COA covering fatty-acid composition, acid value, peroxide value, heavy metals, and microbiology.

02 — Background

Introduction

Grapeseed oil is recovered from the seeds remaining after wine production, an upcycling of what would otherwise be waste from the wine industry. The processing is typically done at dedicated extraction plants near wine-producing regions.

The oil's high linoleic acid content (omega-6) is notable in the context of dietary fatty-acid balance and supports skin-barrier function in cosmetic applications. Vitamin E content is naturally elevated, supporting antioxidant and shelf-life properties.

Most commercial grapeseed oil is solvent-extracted because cold-pressing yields are low. Cold-pressed virgin grades command a premium and retain more aroma and antioxidants. Sustainability positioning leverages the wine-byproduct circular-economy story.

Smoke point and price-performance favorable to olive oil have made grapeseed oil a popular alternative in cooking applications, particularly in restaurant and food-service segments.
