A high-DHA marine triglyceride concentrate produced by molecular distillation and re-esterification of refined tuna and mixed pelagic fish oil, standardized to a minimum of 50% docosahexaenoic acid and 10% eicosapentaenoic acid in re-esterified triglyceride form.
Pale yellow to amber clear oil with a mild marine note. DHA-dominant ratio is selected for brain, eye, and pregnancy nutrition where DHA is the dietary fatty acid of primary interest. The re-esterified triglyceride backbone delivers higher bioavailability than ethyl ester concentrates.

Introduction
DHA accumulates in the human brain and retina during the third trimester of pregnancy and the first two years of life. Maternal DHA status, infant DHA intake from breast milk or formula, and dietary DHA across adulthood are all linked to neurological and visual function in the published literature.
DHA concentrates are produced from tuna body oil and from refined mixed pelagic fish oil. Tuna oil naturally carries a higher DHA-to-EPA ratio than anchovy or sardine oil, making it the preferred feedstock for high-DHA concentrates. Processing begins with conversion to ethyl esters, molecular distillation under high vacuum to enrich DHA, and re-esterification with glycerol to restore the natural triglyceride form.
Re-esterified triglyceride DHA shows 70% higher absorption than ethyl ester DHA in pharmacokinetic head-to-head studies. The triglyceride form is also more oxidatively stable in softgel storage and produces fewer fish-burp side effects in consumer reports.
Regulatory status follows refined fish oil. The EFSA has authorized DHA health claims for brain function in adults (250 mg/day), maintenance of normal vision (250 mg/day), and maternal-to-fetal brain and eye development (200 mg DHA/day during pregnancy and lactation). U.S. FDA accepts DHA as Generally Recognized as Safe. China permits DHA under GB 1.5 and as a registered health food ingredient.
Commercial positioning is the premium maternal and pediatric segment, where the DHA-to-EPA ratio, the triglyceride form, and the verified absence of contaminants are the parameters that define brand acceptability.
