01 — Overview

Description

Premium first-harvest matcha produced from the youngest tea leaves of the spring season, stone-milled to ultra-fine particle size for traditional tea ceremony preparation and high-end retail applications.

Vibrant emerald-green ultra-fine powder with intensely smooth umami-sweet flavor and minimal bitterness. The first-harvest leaves deliver the highest amino acid content and lowest tannin content of any matcha grade.

We supply food-grade Ceremonial Grade Matcha from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production.

Common market grades include single-cultivar ceremonial matcha, blended ceremonial matcha, organic-certified ceremonial grade, and Premium Ceremonial Plus from highest-rated tea gardens.

Bulk and reduced-MOQ shipments. Batch-level COA covering moisture, particle size, L-theanine content, and microbiology.

02 — Background

Introduction

Ceremonial grade matcha represents the top tier of the matcha quality hierarchy, traditionally produced for tea ceremony use rather than for blending or processed food applications.

The grade designation requires first-harvest spring leaves from shade-grown plants, traditional stone-milling at the slow rate of approximately 30 grams per hour, and rigorous quality grading before release. The result is a finer particle size, brighter color, and smoother flavor than culinary grades.

L-theanine content is particularly high in ceremonial grade due to the use of young first-harvest leaves and extended shading. The amino acid is responsible for matcha's characteristic umami flavor and has been studied for cognitive and relaxation effects synergistic with caffeine.

The premium positioning supports high-end retail and foodservice applications where the matcha is the central feature rather than a flavor component, including traditional tea ceremony, pure matcha shots, and luxury confectionery.
