Description
The standardized extract of Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum, ling zhi). Dual-extracted to capture both water-soluble polysaccharides (principally beta-glucans) and alcohol-soluble triterpenes (ganoderic acids). Used in immune-support, stress-management, and longevity dietary supplements globally.
Brown to dark brown free-flowing powder. Highly water-soluble in standardized polysaccharide grades.
We supply food-grade Reishi Extract from manufacturers in China holding ISO, Halal, Kosher and other certifications relevant to the product and production. China is the dominant global producer of cultivated Reishi.
Common market grades include 10 percent Polysaccharides (cost-effective baseline), 30 percent Polysaccharides (standard supplement grade), 50 percent Polysaccharides (premium grade), Dual-Extracted 30/4 (30 percent polysaccharides plus 4 percent triterpenes), and Reishi Spore Powder Cracked-Cell-Wall (premium-positioned alternative format).

Introduction
Reishi (ling zhi) has been revered in East Asian traditional medicine for over 2,000 years as the mushroom of immortality. Wild Reishi was historically rare and reserved for royalty; cultivated production beginning in the 1970s has made the mushroom commercially accessible.
Industrial production proceeds by solid-state cultivation of Reishi fruiting bodies on hardwood logs or sterilized substrate, followed by hot-water and ethanol dual extraction to capture both polysaccharide and triterpene fractions. Premium grades use cracked-cell-wall spore powder for higher triterpene concentration.
Recognized as a permitted food ingredient in China and most major markets; classified as a Novel Food in some EU applications pending review.
The principal active compound classes include the beta-glucan polysaccharides (immune-modulating) and the ganoderic acid triterpenes (which contribute the characteristic bitter taste and have documented anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective activities). Clinical evidence supports immune-modulation and quality-of-life applications including in cancer-supportive care.
Strategic positioning targets immune-support supplements as the volume application, with strong premium positioning in the broader adaptogen, longevity, and functional mushroom segments.
