Introduction
This SKU is the high-purity crystalline form of Natamycin without bulk carrier, representing the most concentrated commercial format available.
Production follows the same submerged aerobic fermentation of Streptomyces natalensis as carrier-formatted grades, but with additional crystallization and purification passes that yield 95 percent or higher pure Natamycin without lactose, NaCl, or other carriers.
Regulatory status follows that of all Natamycin products (E235 in the EU, GRAS in the U.S., JECFA-approved at 0.3 mg per kg body weight ADI), with pharmacopoeial monographs in BP, USP, and EP specifying the high-purity form.
Strategic positioning targets pharmaceutical and high-precision applications where formulation tolerances are tight enough that the variability introduced by carrier-included formats becomes a problem. Cost is meaningfully higher per kg than carrier-formatted grades, but cost per unit of antifungal activity is lower because the buyer is not paying for inert lactose or salt bulk.
