A water-extracted polyphenolic extract from Cinnamomum cassia bark, containing characteristic Type-A procyanidins (doubly-linked proanthocyanidin oligomers found in cinnamon but not in most other commercial polyphenol sources). Standardized to total polyphenols or to specific Type-A procyanidin marker content for glucose-metabolism-positioned supplement applications.
Light brown to brown free-flowing powder with subtle cinnamon aroma. Highly water-soluble. The water-extracted process excludes the coumarin and cinnamaldehyde fractions present in conventional cinnamon products.
